The work to be done for this project, shown on the Drawings entitled, "Graue Mill Landscape," prepared by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County dated June 5, 2024, consists of enhancements to the landscape surrounding the Graue Mill Museum, including the removal of two woody plants, the installation of 1,100 square feet of brick walkways, a 44' stone seat wall, and 232' of wood guardrail fencing as an alternate. The work will also consist of the installation of 116 native woody plants and 1,648 native perennial plugs, including bed preparation and mulching. The bid security shall be forfeited if the lowest responsible bidder awarded the contract fails, or refuses, to (a) enter into a Contract; (b) furnish performance and labor and material payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount; (c) furnish a construction schedule; or (d) provide the required insurance information after the successful bidder's bid submittal is accepted.
