Water Treatment Facility Upgrades consisting of the new iron removal filters, metal building addition, ground storage tank, removal and replacement of service pumps, piping, valves, and electrical controls and instrumentation, site grading and drainage, and other related items of work including all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, etc., required as set forth in the Bid Documents of Morgan Goudeau & Associates, Inc. for Water Treatment Facility Upgrades for St. Landry Parish Waterworks District No. 2 (Rural). Classification of Contractors License - Municipal and Public Works. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Samuel Doucet, President, St. Landry Parish Waterworks District No. 2 (Rural) and plainly marked on the outside, Bid for Water Treatment Facility Upgrades MGA Project WTP#26 and must include Contractors License Number on the bid envelope. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the bid, made payable to the St. Landry Parish Waterworks District No. 2 (Rural), as a guarantee that the bidder will furnish all necessary bonds and enter into a contract if his bid is accepted. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570 and be licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof, unless withdrawal of bid is in accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2214C.
