Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sumner, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This contract provides for the replacement of existing power and control panels at the City of Sumners Sanitary Sewer Lift Stations #2 and #6. Lift station #2 is located near the intersection of Puyallup Street and Fryar Street. Lift Station #6 is located near the intersection of 16th Street and Bonney Avenue. The project includes erosion control, installation of a flow meter, shelter structures, and surface restoration, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, the Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The Owner has procured PLC Hardware and Panels for both Lift Station #2 & #6. All submitted bids shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit (certified or cashiers check or approved bond) payable to the City of Sumner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal price. Should the Successful Bidder fail to enter into a contract with the City and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Sumner The Engineers estimate range for this project is between $575,000 and $675,000. Work shall commence within ten (10) calendar days after execution of the contract and the issuance of a notice to proceed; and shall be completed within one hundred fifty (150) working days. The City of Sumner reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding, accept a bid proposal of the lowest responsible and responsive bidder (Successful Bidder), reject any or all Bids, republish the Call for Bids, revise or cancel the scope of work, or require the work to be done in another way if doing so is in the best interest of the City
