Description of work: Construct Taxilane and Bioretention Basin Estimate of major quantities: Common Excavation: 20,000 C.Y.; Crushed Aggregate Base Course: 1,300 Ton; HMA Pavement: 450 Ton; Geotextile Fabric: 2,000 S.Y.; Storm Sewer: 310 L.F.; Airport Underdrain: 400 L.F.; Salvaged Topsoil: 28,000 S.Y.; Engineered Soil: 2,000 C.Y.; Bioretention Sand: 2,000 C.Y. DBE Goal: 2.0% Contract Completion Time: 40 working days Any prospective bidder who has not previously established their qualifications must file a pre-qualification statement on the proper forms and be received by the department no later than 12:00 noon, local time, Friday, May 31, 2024. Only prime or general contractors submitting the bid need to be prequalified; subcontractors do not need to be prequalified. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid is required for the contract.
