The owner is seeking bids for the manufacture and delivery of Secondary Plus Wastewater Treatment Equipment for inclusion as an allowance in a general construction contract. The project consists of the manufacture and delivery of Secondary Plus Wastewater Treatment Equipment for inclusion as an allowance in a general construction contract. Equipment "Vendor" or "Manufacturer" as "Seller" shall be required to furnish equipment as specified herein to the awardee of the general contract ("Buyer") at the bid price submitted. The equipment shall provide a secondary plus (Secondary+) level of wastewater treatment using recirculating sand/textile filters as described in the Indirect Discharge Rules of the State of Vermont, Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Environmental Conservation, Drinking Water and Groundwater Protection Division. The Bidder shall submit the completed Bid Worksheet along with the Bid security through online No lines on the BID worksheet may be left blank. Failure to fully complete the BID worksheet will prevent the bidder from submitting a bid. The OWNER may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any or all bids. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the total Bid submitted must accompany the Bid. Failure to submit such with the Bid will render the Bidder non-responsive, and the Bid will not be read. All questions by prospective BIDDERS as to the interpretations of the INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS, Forms of PROPOSAL, Form of CONTRACT, Plans, Specifications or BONDS, must be submitted in writing to the Consulting Engineer, at least seven (7) days before the date herein set for the opening of BIDS. All technical questions regarding this project should be directed by email to Laura Clements at lclements@hoyletanner.com. All interpretations will be provided to prospective BIDDERS at the addresses given by them no later than five (5) days before the date of opening BIDS. Failure of any BIDDER to receive any such ADDENDUM or interpretation shall not relieve such BIDDER from any obligation under its BID as submitted. All ADDENDA so issued shall become part of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. The prospective Bidders are responsible for inspecting the site (if they feel one is warranted) and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents. The failure or omission of a Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall, in no way, relieve any Bidder from any obligation in respect to its Bid. Question Deadline 07/03/2024
