The Work Generally Consists of Renovation and Expansion of the Existing Secure Holding Facility. The Estimated Construction Cost is Between $1.5 Million and $2 Million. Bidders Shall Comply With All Access Requirements of the Facility. Bidders and Interested Parties Are Required to Sign-in at the Meetings to Confirm Attendance. The Estimated Value of the Public Works Contract is $250,000 or More and the Apprenticeship Agreement Preference Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (Act 17, Slh 2009) Shall Apply. Campaign Contributions by State and County Contractors Prohibited. If awarded a contract in response to this solicitation, offeror agrees to comply with HRS section 11-355, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from a State and County government contractor during the term of the contract if the contractor is paid with funds appropriated by the legislative body, at any time between the execution of the contract through the completion of the contract. To be eligible to submit a Bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawai'i Contractor's license classification (s) B. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
