The work site is located at the Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown, Pennsylvania. Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The work is generally described as follows: Expand Cargo Apron, Phase VI (Aircraft Parking Apron). This Aircraft Parking Apron project (Phase VI) is part of a multi-year, multi-construction package program underway at HIA to expand the airport's cargo operation.The prior work, Drainage and New Outfall project (Phase IV) consisted of drainage installation from Taxiway G to the Susquehanna River and is completed under separate contract by Others for a new drainage system complete from south of Taxiway G to the river outfall culvert through the flood dike. The prior work, Drainage and Apron project (Phase V) consisted of drainage construction from Taxiway G upstream to the new Cargo Apron expansion including the new cargo apron trench drain, glycol diversion vault, oil/water separator, oil/water diversion vault. The project also included the construction of the southern portion of the new cargo apron expansion to past the trench drain. This work is underway via a separate contract by Others and will be completed by November 2024. Each bid submitted must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof unless award is delayed due to the required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of grant(s); in which case, bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) calendar days in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Surety Bond and a Payment Bond each in the full amount of the Contract Price. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to reject all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids, in the Owner sole discretion. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
