The extent of work involves the removal of existing traffic signal supports and signal heads, and the installation of supports, controller upgrades, skip line and legend striping and new signal heads and countdown Hand/Man pedestrian heads at the following two (2) intersections in Yeadon Borough, Delaware County: - Church Lane (SR 0013) & MacDade Boulevard (SR 0013) - West Cobbs Creek Parkway & MacDade Boulevard Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Materialmen's Bond in the amount of 100%; and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% for the Contract price up to $200,000 plus 10% above $200,000. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified with PennDOT in accordance with Section 102.01 of PennDOT Publication 408 - Specifications, 2011 edition and the latest supplements thereof to complete traffic signal work (Work Class Code P). No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
