The MCCA is looking for Contractors interested in the Hynes Convention Center HVAC Control Equipment Maintenance contract. The maintenance contract consists of testing, inspection, calibration, repair and emergency service for the Automatic Temperature Control and the Direct Digital Control equipment and systems in the Hynes Convention Center. This contract includes testing, inspection, calibration, repair and emergency service for the Automatic Temperature Control and the Direct Digital Control equipment and systems in the Hynes Convention Center, 900 Boylston Street, Boston, Massachusetts. This maintenance contract will commence on or about August 1, 2024, for a term of three years Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted in writing in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5 p.m. on June 21, 2024. Each general bid on this contract must be accompanied by a copy of a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance showing that the bidder has the classification and capacity rating to perform the work required. In order to be eligible to bid on this contract, a general bidder must be certified for the estimated project cost of $175,000 and for at least one of the following categories of work: ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS or HVAC Each general bid must also be accompanied by a Contractor Qualification Update Statement. The Authority will furnish copies of the Contractor Qualification Update Statement form to any bidder on request. Any general bid submitted without the appropriate Certificate of Eligibility and Contractor Qualification Update Statement shall be invalid. Each bidder may download a set of the documents at such address, together with any addenda or amendments which the Authority may issue. Bidding procedures and award of the contract will be in accordance with the provisions of Sections 44A through 44J, inclusive, of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Each bid shall be submitted and will be considered in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and other Contract Documents, and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total value of the bid. The successful general bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and also a labor and materials or payment bond as set forth in the bid form. Subcontractors bonding requirements, if applicable, are described in the bidding documents. Attention is called to the minimum rates of wages to be paid on the work as determined under the provisions of Chapter 149, Massachusetts General Laws, Sections 26 to 27D, inclusive, as amended, and as set forth in the Contract Documents, which the contractor will be required to pay
