Furnish Various Aggregate Material to Be Delivered to the Department of Transportation, Duplin County The purpose of this solicitation is to establish an agency specific term contract to furnish Various Aggregate Material to be delivered to the Department of Transportation, Duplin County Maintenance on an as needed basis. The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) uses approved aggregate materials throughout the state to complete construction of roads, bridges and other surface and weather-related projects. The Goods or Services being procured shall dictate the application and order of criteria; however, all award decisions shall be in the State's best interest. All responsive bids will be reviewed, and award or awards will be based on the responsive bid(s) offering the lowest price that meets the specifications to include any required verifications set out herein such as but not limited to past performance, references, and financial documents. The Contract shall have an initial term of one (1) year, beginning on the date of final Contract execution (the "Effective Date"). In addition, the State reserves the right with the vendors concurrence to extend a contract term after the last active term. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of this IFB and any addenda issued hereto.
