Questions Due Date: Sep 19th 2024, 2:00 PM EDT Contact Information: Carleen Megaro, cmegaro@norwalkct.gov The City of Norwalk is requesting bids from qualified vendors for the supply and install of bird netting at the Admin Truck and Fleet Garages at Department of Public Works. The budget for this project is $70,000.00. The requirements of this project are outlined in greater detail under Section 2 Scope of Work/Project Specifications. Scope: Vendor must be a supplier and installer of bird control products such as bird netting and have been in business for at least five (5) years Vendor will need to install and suspend bird netting over the entire Admin Truck and Fleet Garages 108 x 360 = 38,880 sq.ft. See attached floor plan Vendor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the installation of the bird netting for the Admin Truck and Fleet Garages. Vendor is able work Monday through Friday 7:00AM-4:00P.M. Bird nettting shall protect structures while allowing air and light to pass through. Bird netting must be abrasion, UV, flame, and rot resistant Bird netting must last for ten (10) to fifteen (15) years The City needs to have ten (10) access points with the netting in case the City needs to do any maintenance in the garage Bird netting supplied by the vendor should be new and come with Manufacturers Warranty User manuals shall be supplied at time of delivery.
