Ref. #: 4369 Questions Due Date: Jun 4th 2024, 2:00 PM EDT Questions through Online Portal The City of Norwalk is requesting bids from qualified vendors for the apparatus floor replacement at Norwalk Fire Station 3. PROJECT SCHEDULE: Begin August 1, 2024 and complete by October 1, 2024 Project Summary and Scope of Work shall include but shall not be limited to: 1. Removal and replacement of the existing wood floor joists, decking, and concrete floor below for the fire truck. 2. Removal and reinstallation of electrical wires, outlets, plumbing, HVAC, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and miscellaneous appurtenances. 3. Removal and reinstallation of gypsum board ceiling. 4. Protection of existing structure and equipment during demolition. 5. Fall protection around the floor to be demolished. 6. Bracing, shoring as needed, designed by a shoring engineer (not Russell and Dawson). 7. All work under this contract shall be warranted for a period of (2) two years, in addition to warranties required under specific conditions of this Specification.
