Renovation of a multi-residential development in Norwalk, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

As of October 2 2025 this project has no awarded bidder. The project scope includes but is not limited to the following: All labor, material and equipment associated with the upgrade of common areas in Kitchen Renovations 16 School Street Norwalk, Connecticut 5 2-story residential buildings. The scope of work generally includes the following: The project consists of a comprehensive renovation of all kitchen interiors across the designated units. The scope includes the following components: 1. Cabinetry and Countertops: o Complete removal and replacement of all kitchen cabinets and countertops. o Installation of new cabinets and solid surface countertops per design specifications. 2. Plumbing Fixtures: o Replacement of kitchen sink fixtures, including faucets and traps. o Installation of new plumbing components to meet current code requirements. 3. Appliances and Ventilation: o Replacement of existing range hoods with new units. o Installation of associated ductwork, ensuring proper ventilation to exterior as required. 4. Flooring and Finishes: o Removal of existing flooring finishes. o Installation of new resilient or tile flooring (as specified). o Replacement of wall base with new materials to match new finishes. o Patching and painting of all walls and ceilings with low-VOC paint. 5. Electrical Work: o Replacement of all kitchen light fixtures with energy-efficient LED lighting. o Replacement of electrical receptacles, switches, and associated wiring devices to meet current code and accessibility standards. o Ensure GFCI protection is provided at all applicable locations. 6. Mechanical: o Replacement of existing baseboard heater covers in kitchen areas with new units. 7. Accessibility (ADA Adaptability): o Conversion of two (2) kitchen units to ADA-adaptable, accessible configurations. o Modifications to comply with ICC A117.1 and ADA requirements for clearances, reach ranges, appliance accessibility, and sink configurations A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held. for the purpose of considering questions posed by bidders. The conference will be open to general contract and subcontract bidders. The date, time, and location of the Pre-Bid Conference will be announced at a later date via addendum or official communication.
