Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norwalk, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and educational facility.
The proposed work for the Base Bid project is a pavement rehabilitation project of the existing facility parking lots for Ben Franklin, Kendall Elementary School and Rowayton Elementary School. This project consists of a 2" mill and overlay of the existing parking lots, resetting of existing structures as depicted, removing and replacing the existing bituminous concrete curb, and installation of pavement markings. The parking lots will be closed while the Project is taking place. The proposed work for the Alternate 1 project is the pavement rehabilitation of a section of the DPW Operations Facility as depicted. This project consists of a 2" mill and overlay of the existing facility, structure resets and installation of pavement markings.
