Renovation of an educational facility in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Tenders are invited for the provision of materials, labour, and equipment necessary for the installation and piping of three (3) condensing boilers, associated circulators, low loss header, secondary circulators and and ancillary hydronic equipment, purchased and supplied by the District, at Eagle View Elementary School, in full conformance with applicable codes, standards and ordinances as described in the specifications and drawings by Rocky Point Engineering Ltd. The existing Walker Direct Digital Control (DDC) System will also be replaced by a new Reliable Controls system. Work of this Contract consists of, but not necessarily limited to: .1 Removal and replacement of the gas-fired boiler, including re-use of the chimney as a conduit for boiler flues. .2 Removal and replacement of primary circulators. .3 Revisions to hydronic piping within the boiler room, including a new low-loss header. .4 Revisions to gas piping, including a new regulator for the existing water heater. .5 Other equipment and accessories as described elsewhere. .6 Seismic restraint of mechanical equipment. .7 Balancing of equipment and commissioning. .8 Controls revisions to accommodate new boilers. .9 Additional control points as described below.
