This RFP is for a contract that generally includes providing a complete integrated security system for perimeter and control building protection utilizing perimeter and control building protection, video surveillance, gate control and access control and intrusion detection system at Kennedy Substation, Kennedy Capacitor and McLeese Capacitor Substations. These specifications, together with the other Contract Documents, describes the scope, and the quality of civil, electrical, security work required for the design, supply and installation of a perimeter fence at: 1. Kennedy Capacitor Station (KDY) / Kennedy Substation (KDS) is located at 1pprox. 10km north of the Hwy #39 junction on the John Hart Highway 2. McLeese Capacior Station (MLS) is located north of McLeese Lake on Beaver Road near Williams Lake All or part of the Work will be carried out in or adjacent to an energized 230 kV substation, 230 kV and 138 kV transmission lines, 12 kV distribution lines.
