The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project identified above including the following major work items: Protection of surrounding areas; Prevention of contamination of adjacent marine waters; Preparation for sealcoat, crack sealing, seal coating, and painting; Preparation for pavement, pavement and repair of pavement surfaces; Cleanup. The work site for Bid Alternate C are located within a secure area not open to the public. An opportunity to inspect the area at this facility will be given at the Pre-Bid Meeting, and no other access to this area will be granted outside of this time prior to contract execution. The sites for all other Schedules of Work are generally open to the public, and prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect them at their own convenience provided their presence does not interrupt Port or tenant operations. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, money order, or an original signed and stamped surety bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the Port of Bellingham.
