Renovation of a transportation facility in Waukegan, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,400-square-foot transportation facility.

The work consists of expanding the bus storage area by 13,400 sf, which will replace the north wall and will add approximately 7,650 sf of exterior wall. Removing and replacing the roofing, structural reinforcement of the roof structure, new roof mounted exhaust fans, overhead crane, and fall protection. Upgrading the facility electrical system, as the recommended charging strategy uses medium voltage power (12kV-50kV). Procuring and installing chargers and overhead charging pantographs for 60 BEB's. Installation of a new parking lot spaces, upgrading and replacing the fire protection systems, office administration area improvements and renovations, and bus fueling, parts, storage, and bus repair area improvements.
