** As of July 29, 2024 this project has been awarded to Black Gold Transport, Inc with an awarded amount of $734,311.92.** HMA surfacing on Riley Street from US31 to 112th Avenue Each bid must be submitted on the form supplied by the Road Commission in a sealed envelope, plainly marked as to the ITEM being bid upon and the NAME OF THE BIDDER. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and award the Contract in any manner to be in the best interest of the County of Ottawa. 1.78 miles of resurfacing on Riley Street from US-31 to 112th Avenue in Holland Township (log plans are included in the proposal). The existing street consist primarily of 36 to 66 foot wide HMA pavement. Work on this street shall consist of temporary lowering of drainage structures, milling around drainage structure covers, cold milling 1.75 inches deep full width from US-31 to 112th Avenue, milling 1.75 inches deep full width for HMA approaches adjusting drainage structure covers, gate box adjust, monument box adjust, placement of HMA top course, HMA approaches, and pavement markings. All work from US-31 to 200 feet East of the 120th Avenue intersection shall be done at night with the exception of permanent pavement markings. This portion shall be divided into North of the crown of road and South of the crown of the road. Each portion shall be milled, resurfaced, and have temporary pavement markings in one nights work.
