USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital located at 1700 Center Street, Mobile, AL delivers more babies annually than any other hospital in Mobile. That's because we offer the most advanced care in the region. Since the need for advanced treatment cannot always be predicted during pregnancy and delivery, expectant parents have peace of mind when they deliver at a hospital that offers a neonatal intensive care unit, the most advanced treatments and specialty-trained physicians readily available if an emergency occurs. We provide highly regarded surgical, oncological, clinical and acute care to women and children. Our team of physician specialists, nurses and technicians care for the medical needs of women and children with a family-centered approach. This project will require renovations of spaces on the first floor main lobby and in the north east section of the 1 st floor. The following are a list of the spaces. o MRI Renovation Phase 2 (780 sf) o New CT Room (775 sf) o New IR Suite (6,275 sf) o Sterile Processing Department (5,100 sf) o Lab/Pathology (1,475) o New Patient Access (620 sf) o Existing Cardiopulmonary Office Zone (3,675 sf) o Lobby/Security/Volunteers (685 sf) The project team will be required to develop a feasibility study with USA. The study shall include programing, schematic floor plans, construction priority phasing to allow the hospital to operate during construction, and a rough order of magnitude (ROM) construction cost. After the feasibility is completed and the program and ROM is approved the project will move into the design phase. The questionnaire shall be emailed no later than 2:00 PM, June 28, 2024. o Shortlisted firms will be notified on July 12 th , 2024. o Interviews will be held during the week of July 15 th , 2024.
