Renovation of a municipal facility in Valparaiso, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Each bid shall be accompanied by an executed non-collusion affidavit, an executed bid bond in the minimum amount of five percent (5%) of the bid and such other documents required by the Instructions to Bidders. Bid bond may be a certified or cashier's check payable to the Board of Commissioners for Porter County, Indiana, or an acceptable bidder's bond. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities, or errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. A general description of the work for which proposals are to be received consists of: This project includes renovation to the former voter registration area on the lower level of the Porter County Administrative Building to convert it to areas for Veteran Services and the County Coroner as part of Phase 1. After completion, Phase 2 & 3 is to renovate and enlarge the current Health Department in their current space and expand into adjacent spaces on the lower level as well
