Site work and paving for a road / highway in Valparaiso, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing approximately 4500 FT of alleys at 15 locations within the City of Valparaiso. A certified or cashier s check payable to the City of Valparaiso or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by the City upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. Bidders must be experienced in the construction of the type of facilities to be built under the Contract(s) for which a bid is submitted. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Board deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
