Renovation of a residential development in Thiells, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Hudson Valley DDSO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate 2 years of relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and its subject to vendor responsibility determination. Location: 7Wilbur Road, Thiells, NY 10984 Hudson Valley DDSO reserves the right to reject any quote which does not reflect the correct prevailing wages in accordance with the provided wage schedule. Contract term: Within 30 days of receiving the purchase order NYS Labor law requires that all contracted employees performing maintenance, repairs or capital improvements in state owned buildings receive the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the occupation in which they are working. If this is a public work contract covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law or a building service contract covered by Article 9 thereof, neither Contractor's employees nor the employees of its subcontractors may be required or permitted to work more than the number of hours or days stated in said statutes, except as otherwise provided in the Labor Law and as set forth in prevailing wage and supplement schedules issued by the State Labor Department. Furthermore, contractor must pay at least the prevailing wage rate or provide the prevailing supplements, including the premium rates for overtime pay, as determined by the State Labor Department in accordance with the Labor Law. NYS law requires the vendor to keep detailed records for each person employed including name, address, telephone number, social security number, occupational classification in which worked, hourly wage rate paid, supplements provided, number of hours worked, and actual wages paid. Certified payroll record/s MUST be submitted at the time of invoicing SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Three steel exteriors doors with frames to be removed. They will be identified during site visit. 2. New replacement storefront doors with top/ sidelight will be as spec: A. Door dimension: Max standard width of door as allowed in space. B. Door Bottoms will have 10" bottom rail as ADA complaint C. Door will have continued hinge. D. Door lock-Inside will be Crash bar, Outside- standard handle with Blank cover over key cylinder opening. E. Door Glass: 1" insulated. F. Top/ Sidelight will fit the remaining opening with 1" insulated glass. G. All doors will have proper door encloser. H. Door, frame, and sidelight color will be bronze. 3. Contractor is responsible for all measurements and proper door/ sidelight fitting. 4. Contractor is responsible the areas/ gaps around frame to be proper sealed and mended as it was found. 5. Any changes/ alternative will need to be approval by OPWDD Staff.
