The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for; Roof repairs at the Allison Maintenance Garage. The location for this project is 12 Pfaltzgraff Street, Allison, IA 50602. Remove existing washed river rock in the areas to be repaired and salvage the rock for re-installation once the repair is completed. In a 16"X40" area and a 10" by 24" area, cut open the existing EPDM rubber roofing, and remove the damaged insulation and dispose of it properly. Infill all areas where damaged insulation was removed with new 2 inch polyisocyanurate board insulation (the same height as existing insulation. Furnish and install a 60 mil black EPDM membrane patch over the areas (16'X40' and 10'X24') to include all needed EPDM accessories. Furnish and install 36 ballast concrete pavers (16"X16"). These will be placed at the 6 perimeter corners of the 2 smaller roof areas. Re-install the washed river rock where it was removed for repairs Estimated start date- 7/1/2024 (The date shall be coordinated with the IDOT Project Manager. (This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received (i.e., Insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract). Estimated project end date- 8/30/2024 (This includes resolution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance typically used in construction bids). Reminder: This is an FY2025 project.
