Spencer Township Trustees (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the: TOOMS ROAD AND COOPER ROAD IMPROVEMENTS The Project includes the following Work: Improvement of approximately: 100-FT of embankment of Tooms Road and 150-FT of embankment of Cooper Road including installation of underdrains. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $113,650 for the Base Bid; $90,975 for Alternate A; $195,625 for Alternate B. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide the surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed in 60 (max 30 days on-site per location once activities begin) Calendar Days after the Notice to Proceed for Substantial and Final Completion. Payment of Davis-Bacon Act Prevailing Wages are required for this Project. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process, and to enter into a contract with the bidder who, in the Owner's opinion, offers the lowest and best bid. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in accordance with Title VI of Civil Rights Act.
