Reference Number 0000354821 Emmet County is soliciting proposals from prospective vendors to provide the County with replacement of four (4) Unit Ventilators and one (1) rooftop HVAC unit at the Lakeview Academy. Question Deadline 06/20/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Questions shall be submitted in writing to David R. Anolick at danolick@emmetcounty.org . The County reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any and all proposals, or parts of any proposal, for any reason whatsoever and waive technicalities. The County will only accept proposals that are responsive to the RFP and are prepared and submitted in compliance with the requirements set forth in this RFP. Emmet County will not award any proposal to an individual or business having any outstanding amounts due from a prior Contract or business relationship with the County or who owes any amount(s) for delinquent Federal, State or Local taxes, fees and licenses. SCOPE OF WORK The purpose of this request for proposal is to invite prospective vendors to submit a proposal to supply Emmet County with HVAC equipment, product and installation per the attached documents, Exhibits A, B, C, and D. The Vendor shall provide the following related to this particular RFP: A. Exhibit A Four (4) unit ventilators and one (1) rooftop HVAC unit as specified in the attached Exhibit A. Include all related equipment such as thermostats, line sets, insulation, etc.. B. Exhibit B Location of unit ventilators. Each unit has an existing ventilated millwork cabinet which directs airflow and is intended to be reused therefore unit size in relation to cabinet size is critical. C. Exhibit C Roof plan shows approximate location of rooftop equipment. Provide new curbs (unless existing can be reused), electrical connections, line sets, and refrigerant. D. Exhibit D Building floor plan (HVAC layout). E. Exhibit E Condensing Units schedule. F. Provide DDC controller for remote connectivity over internet. G. Provide and coordinate repair of any roof penetrations with a roofer approved by Emmet County. H. Include obtaining and paying for any drawings and permits required by the local building authority. I. Include all debris removal from the site and any clean up required. J. All equipment supplied must be of equal (Trane brand) or better quality.
