The Department Will Not Hold Retention on This Project. Per Utah State Code as 13-8-5 (1) Prime Contractors Cannot Hold Retention. Refer to Utah Code as 13-8-5 (1) for More Information. Wage Rates: Apply The principal items of work are as follows (for all items of work see attachment): Double Precast Concrete Cattle Guard Right-of-Way Brace Post Right-of-Way Fence, Type G (Wood Post) Engineer's Estimate: Greater Than $1.5m but Less Than or Equal $3m (Qualified Health Insurance Required) Each bidder must submit an electronic bid bond from an approved surety company using udot's bidding Businesssystem or in lieu thereof, cash, certified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5% of the total amount Of the bid, made payable to the utah department of transportation, showing evidence of good faith and a guarantee That if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the contract bonds as required. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. UTDOT - I-80 and I-84; Wildlife Fencing Near Echo Jct Roadside Improvements/Wildlife/Fencing *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
