Construction will begin March 2025, with completion slated for April 2026. 010 CH 344 F029101C 010-F-(229)T BENSON-STEINS HIGHWAY (I-10) (E WILLCOX TI UP BR. 1229) SouthEast District Item # 100184 Engineering Specialist: Yusuf Kadem Pre-Qualification: Yes The proposed work is located in Cochise County on Interstate 10 at the East Willcox TI UP Bridge at mile post 344.5, east of the City of Willcox. The work consists of bridge rehabilitation and reconstruction of the embankment curb and roadway approaches. The work includes mechanical milling and placement of a polyester polymer concrete (PPC) overlay on the bridge deck and approach slabs, milling and placement of asphaltic concrete and applying fog coat on the approaches to the bridge. The work also includes replacement of deck joints and bridge bearings, repair of the existing bridge barrier and slope paving, applying pavement markings and other related work.
