Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a 81,000-square-foot educational facility; for the construction of a 150,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Highline Public Schools has set a project goal of 10% minority business enterprises (MBEs), 6 % women business enterprises (W BEs), and. 5% public works small business enterprises (PWSBE), all state certified with the Office of Minority and Women Business Enterprises (OMWBE) Participation may be either on a direct contract basis or as a sub tier trade partner o r supplier. Skanska plans to obtain a Retention Bond for the project.. Subcontractors will have the option of participating in the Skanska a retention bond in lieu of having retention held. Those who do not participate will be held to the standard 5 % retention . Skanska USA Building, Inc. reserves the right. to reject any or all bids and. to waive any non-material informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
