The City of Marco Island is seeking to establish contractual arrangements with several qualified Contractors to provide sanitary sewer manhole and wet well lining services on an as-needed basis for a three (3) year period, with a potential of one (1) three (3) year extension. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract with qualified contractors who have the expertise, capabilities, and experience to install high quality, durable, and efficient coating system for sanitary sewer manholes and wet wells structures within the City of Marco Island, Key Marco, Marco Shores, and Isles of Capri. The coating and lining services activities associated with this contract include but not be limited to prepare manhole surface profile, repair leaks, install liner, and sealer to address inflow and infiltration intrusion to the sanitary sewer collections system. The qualified contractor must have 10 years of experience in this type of service. Responses to this RFQ must be completed and in accordance with the instructions stated herein. The City of Marco Island reserves the right to reject any or all RFQ submissions, waive any informality in the RFQ process, or accept RFQ submissions that it considers to be in its best interest. By submitting a response, the contractor agrees to adhere to all terms and conditions outlined in this RFQ. Respondents may be required to provide additional information or clarification regarding their qualifications. The selection decision will be final and not subject to appeal. The City of Marco Island reserves the right to amend or modify the RFQ at any time. All contractors will be notified of such amendments. All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the City of Marco Island Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. Responsible Vendor Determination Respondent is Hereby Notified That Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, Requires That the District May Not Request Documentation of or Consider a Vendor's Social, Political, or Ideological Interests When Determining if the Vendor is a Responsible Vendor.
