Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a recreation facility in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility; for the addition of a recreation facility; for the demolition of a recreation facility; and for site work for a recreation facility.
As of February 10, 2025, construction is complete. Description: This project has (2) Parts. The first part is the Customs & Border Protection (CBP) Renovations, and the second part is the Waiting Room Addition (WRA). Each part has their own set of drawings and must be priced separately due to funding sources. Please note that there are no traditional specifications as the A/E has chosen to include them on the drawings. Both projects are permitted and ready for construction. Both projects will start roughly August 1st, 2024. The trades involved include, demolition, concrete, structural and miscellaneous steel, rough carpentry, architectural case work, air barrier, roofing, roof pavers, intumescent fireproofing, doors, frames and hardware, storefront, curtain wall, drywall, ACT ceilings, flooring, painting, toilet accessories, wall protection, fire extinguisher cabinets, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. There will be a pre-bid walk thru scheduled for June 18th, time TBD and we will send out a notice early next week once we confirm with the Cruise Terminal Facilities.
