In a press release, the City stated, “This project is critical to providing clean water and meeting state requirements. The upgrade will include converting the existing high-purity oxygen plant and activated sludge plant into a single anaerobic/oxic treatment plant configuration.” ______________________________________ The project includes a wastewater treatment plant upgrade that replaces aged equipment with new and larger equipment, additional basin construction, renovation and construction to facilitate new equipment, electrical and mechanical upgrades, and project construction with phasing while the plant maintains treatment works. SCOPE OF WORK A. Scope: 1. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals as shown, specified and required to furnish and install sheet metal flashing and trim. 2. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. 3. The Work also includes: a. Providing openings in sheet metal flashing and trim to accommodate the Work under this and other Sections and building into the sheet metal flashing and trim all items such as sleeves, anchor bolts, inserts and all other items to be embedded in sheet metal flashing and trim for which placement is not specifically provided under other Sections. 4. Types of products required include the following: a. Stainless steel sheet flashing. b. Galvanized Sheet Metal Flashing and Trim. c. Aluminum Sheet Metal Flashing and Trim. d. Cast-in-Place and Surface-mounted reglets and counterflashing. e. Formed aluminum coping. f. Miscellaneous flashing not supplied under other Sections.
