Renovation of a mixed-use development in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and swimming pool.
The Mt. Prospect Park District is accepting sealed bids for the Rec Plex Indoor Swimming Pool & Tot Pool Renovation. Prospect Park District,1645 Carboy Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056, 847 956-6773ext. 460 or mdziubinski@mppd.org. The Park Board of the Mt. Prospect Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids in full or in part, if it is deemed to be in the public's best interest to do so. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work; also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work as as certained by the Illinois Department of Labor, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or perform such work and it shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the specified rates to all laborers, workers and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract or such work.
