Any bidder may withdraw their proposal, without obligation, at any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals. A withdrawal will not be effective unless made personally or by telephonic notification received prior to the closing date. Proposals may later be referred to the City Council for appropriate action. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals as the best interests of the City may dictate. The City of San Fernando is interested in contracting with an experienced contactor to provide exterior painting of City Hall in the City of San Fernando. This RFP does not commit the City to enter into a Contract, nor does it obligate the City to pay for any costs incurred in preparation and submission of proposals or in anticipation of a contract. This project consists of exterior painting of the City Hall building located at 117 Macneil Street, San Fernando, CA, 91340, including doors and windows and all preparation of painting surfaces. The successful bidder must possess a current, valid Class C-33, Painting and Decorating License, or required license issued by the State of California. A. Contactor must also perform the following work: o Clean and seal quarry tile o Clean and seal slumped block o Clean and paint CMU wall o Clean and apply wood stain to wood trellis o Clean and apply wood stain to soffit o Clean and apply wood stain to benches o Clean and paint metal doors o Clean and paint metal flashing o Clean and paint rain gutters and spouts o Clean and paint antenna pole o Clean and paint handrails Project will be lump sum base bid for all material and labor to paint and prep in accordance with the specifications set forth.
