That Rockand Green is issuing this Request for Proposals for residential solid waste collection, transportation and disposal services for the Village of Wesley Hills, Rockland County, New York The Contract Term shall commence on or before January 1, 2025 and shall terminate five (5) years following the Service Commencement Date, as further described herein. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or a cashiers check drawn on a bank in good standing, payable to the order of Rockland Green, in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the total annual amount of the Proposal for the first year, or a Proposal bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total annual amount of the Proposal for the first year As of the effective date of the Service Contract and throughout the term of the Service Contract, the Contractor shall provide and maintain an operations performance bond for the Contract Services in an amount equal to not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total annual awarded amount of the Service Contract for that year. Rockland Green reserves the right to waive any technicalities or immaterial irregularities in the Proposals.
