Summary Metro is currently soliciting proposals from qualified firms to undertake the repair of six (6) identical covered stair entrances and address tile flooring issues at the street level of Metros Riverfront Transit Center (RTC). Question Response Deadline: July 1, 2024, 4:00pm Phase 1 must be complete, accepted, and turned over to Metro no later than October 10th, 2024 to allow full operations for the City of Cincinnati BLINK! Festival on October 16th, 2024. Phase 2 to be completed ten (10) days from start of installation beginning October 21, 2024 The undersigned Bidder agrees to execute a contract for this work in the above amount and to furnish a 10% Bid Bond. The undersigned Bidder agrees to execute a contract for this Work in the above amount and to furnish a 100% Performance & Payment Bond as specified within 10 days after a written Notice of Award, if offered within 60 days after receipt of bids. Repair the six (6) matching covered stair entrances leading to Metro's Riverfront Transit Center (RTC) bus center at street level. These entrances are critical for providing access to the existing covered open-air bus transportation center/thoroughfare located beneath 2nd street. Repair involves correcting damage and improving safety. Please refer to the attached Construction Document Drawings and Specifications (A1.0, G1.0, G2.0) for details on the work scope, consisting of two items: A. Remove damaged/ under-performing tile flooring and supporting concrete substrate and replace it with concrete sidewalk, matching the city of Cincinnati's standard sidewalk spec. B. Remove the entry door system which is damaged and/ or failing and replace it with betterperforming heavy-duty doors. The Project is located above Metro's Riverfront Transit Center on the north side of 2nd street, between Elm St & Main St, on sidewalk at the Sixth street level (stair) entrances to the Riverfront Transit Center.
