Ref. #: SS-24-24886 Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a two (2) year noncompetitive procurement to Thomas Water Purification LLC., d/b/a Purification Technologies for ongoing and as-needed maintenance services on the currently operated deionized water systems, MBR-1447, and MBR-1447(P) tanks for the Water Resources Department at a total cost of $53,000.00. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208(15) as maintenance, services, parts, and/or warranties for existing equipment and systems, provided by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and an authorized agent provided that multiple agents are not available to provide the same and is only reasonably available from one (1) provider, Thomas Water Purification, LLC. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly. Contractors who believe that they can provide goods and/or services that are substantially and materially the same as those identified in the attached Vendor Quote dated May 30, 2024, must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge the intended award. Challenges to this notice must be received no later than the Close Date of the Sole Source (SS) Project. After this date, an award will be made.
