The City of Linden has secured a MEDC Grant from the State of Michigan to restore the Mill and increase its level activation for community or commercial use. The City intends to complete certain improvements as soon as possible, such as roof replacement and façade restoration, while developing additional plans that can be used to solicit and attract potential commercial operators to the facility. Examples of these improvements may include an elevator addition, bathroom core(s) or a commercial kitchen. The City may elect to proactively pursue some of these improvements or wait to finalize and complete them in collaboration with the selected operator.
