Project financing OBJECTIVES The City of Jefferson believes that housing challenges exist at all income levels, housing types, and locations. To stimulate opportunities across a broad range of options, the City seeks to enhance single-family, duplex, and multi-family housing units throughout the city. The city is interested in all options which add new housing units, to include renovating abandoned housing units, infill construction in established neighborhoods, initiating the development of new neighborhoods, and constructing new or expand existing multi-family residential developments. The developments are expected to enhance and reinforce the overall vision of increased housing opportunities in the city. The development(s) should: o Add residential living units through new construction or redevelopment of currently abandoned properties, o add value and complement the surrounding area, o produce long-lasting quality construction that projects a positive community image and is consistent with the other construction around the proposed development.
