The Project generally includes the replacement of the structure carrying Hawthorn Parkway over the OmniTrax Railroad. The work includes complete removal of the existing superstructure and piers and partial removal of the abutments. The proposed structure will be a 3-spanbridge on new piers and rehabilitated abutments with a composite adjacent prestressed concrete box beam structure.
