Proposed Work Consists of 0.0000 Miles of Traffic Signal Revision 1 L Sum Contract Bond; 1 L Sum Mobilization; 50 Mhr Flagging; 604 Unit Traffic Control Signs; 12 Ea Delineator Drums; 20 Ea Tubular Markers; 10 Sf Flat Sheet for Signs-type Xi Refl Sheeting; 66 Sf Flat Sheet for Signs-type Iv Refl Sheeting; 32 Lf Steel Galv Posts-telescoping Perforated Tube; 23 Ea Revise Traffic Signal System; 1 Ea Remove Traffic Signal System. Bid Range $1,000,001 to $1,500,000 Prequalification is required for all bidders submitting a bidding proposal form. Prequalification is required annually. Prequalified contractors who wish to renew their prequalification must submit a complete "Contractor's Prequalification Statement" by July 1 of each calendar year. Bidders who are not currently prequalified must submit a complete "Contractor's Prequalification Statement" at least 10 business days prior to the date of the bid opening. Information is available from the Construction Services Division of the North Dakota Department of Transportation. Contractor's License--A contractor is not required to have a license from the state of North Dakota before bidding on any project, however, no contract will be awarded unless said contractor holds a current North Dakota license in the class within which the value of the contract falls. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities, or to accept such as may be determined to be for the best interests of the state. NDDOT - 23787 - Traffic Signal Revision *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This work consists of incorporating the FAA Requirements for construction of the Citywide Traffic Signal project for the City of Minot, North Dakota. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has conducted an aeronautical study under the provision of 49 U.S.C., Section 44718 of the Code of Federal Regulations, part 77. The study determined that construction equipment with heights up to 40 feet above ground level (1107 mean sea level) pose no hazard to air navigation. The study also determined the permanent existing light standards on this project pose no hazard to air navigation.
