Site work and paving for a road / highway in Glendive, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Location: Dawson Co Glendive Substation 112 Highway 200 South Glendive MT 59330 Statement of work: Asphalt Crack Sealing" includes the following: a. Prepare, clean, and seal all cracks in the bituminous pavement greater than or equal to 1/8 inch in width or as recommended by the sealing manufacturer. c. Cracks and joints which have an average width greater than 3/4 inch shall be thoroughly cleaned for the entire depth, to provide a crack free from all debris, dust, loose material, and moisture. Pay particular attention to fill all cracks formed between the asphalt and the concrete drainage depressions around the building. d. All cracks and joints shall be cleaned with compressed air to remove all dust, dirt, and debris prior to sealing. The cracks shall also be free of moisture prior to sealing. e. Spalled areas along cracks shall be removed prior to sealing. f. The crack sealant shall be a hot-applied, petroleum-based pavement crack and joint sealant and shall be equal to Crafco Road saver 522. Upon cooling, a viscosity which prevents track by traffic shall be obtained. g. Work will be performed during normal working hours of 7:00 am to 5:00pm, Monday -Thursday unless other work schedules are pre-authorized by the WAPA onsite representative. The work site is within or adjacent to a high voltage electrical substation that will be energized during the duration of the performance of this contract. At no time shall the contractor bring any items within 11'-2" feet of an energized conductor. All work will be performed under all OSHA guidelines, and the most current WAPA Power System Safety Manual. Special attention will be made to equipment used in close proximity to high voltage electric substations that will be energized during the performance of this contract. The onsite WAPA representative will discuss and approve the work methods. The Contractor is to wear the proper PPE, at a minimum, hard hat, long pants, and shirt. h. The successful contractor is required to perform the maintenance tasks as listed, including all labor, equipment, material, and supervision to complete the job according to the statement of work. 48 hours notice must be given to WAPA before start of project.
