Work shall include all materials, labor, and equipment for the Asphalt Seal Coating Project including necessary surface preparation, seal coating and striping of parking lots, and walking path area(s) at the following locations. Placid o Walking Path A bid bond, properly certified check, bank draft, cashier's check or letter of credit payable to the Village of Glendale Heights for not less than ten (10) percent of the total bid amount will be required for each bid. The Village of Glendale Heights will require the successful bidder to furnish a satisfactory performance and labor and material payment bond for the total contract amount of this project. The general prevailing rate of wages in DuPage County for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work, also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the United States Department of Labor, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform the work.
