Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Woodstock, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Supply and installation of construction access, environmental protection, and safety barricades, as required. .2 Supply and install warning and closure signage as per drawings SK-1 (sign layout for trail bridge closure), Appendix B. .3 Removal of existing timber railing system, deck, and timber ties as indicated on the drawings. .4 Removal of debris and vegetation on abutment seats and pier tops as indicated on the drawings. .5 Supply and installation of new timber ties, decking, wear surface, and railing system as indicated on the drawings. .6 Supply and installation of girder extension brackets. .7 Supply and installation of abutment ballastwall timber blocking. .8 Excavation and removal of east approach fill as indicated on the drawings and in accordance with WAWA permit (permit pending). .9 Supply and installation of new retaining walls at east abutment as indicated on the drawings. .10 Supply and installation of new timber approach rail system as indicated on the drawings. .11 Removal of temporary works and project site clean-up. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
