750,000 Gallon Fluted Column Exterior Repaint with Containment, Dry Interior Partial Repaint, and Miscellaneous Repairs. Question Deadline 07/04/2024 Description: The work includes: Exterior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard with containment. Apply a four (4) coat zinc epoxy urethane fluoropolymer system. Dry Interior: Abrasive blast clean the entire bowl, the entire access tube, and spot coating failures throughout to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy system to the access tube and bowl and a spot two (2) coat epoxy system to the rest of the prepared surfaces. Foundation: Repair grout. Abrasive blast clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Mixer: Replace the mixer unit inside the wet interior. Note that the existing controls and electrical service to the roof penetration are to remain as is, only the wet interior unit is to be replaced. Repairs: 1) Replace the wet interior roof hatch neck. 2) Install a hatch at top platform. 3) Install deflector bars on the fill/draw pipe. 4) Replace the sample tap on the fill/draw pipe. 5) Install a fall prevention device on the dry interior column ladders and on the ladder to the bowl manway. 6) Replace the overflow screen. 7) Replace roof vent. 8) Replace the dry interior light bulbs. The Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to DIXON in writing.
