The work shall be completed in its entirety on or before August 30, 2024. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about July 15, 2024. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $500.00 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. All questions or clarifications concerning the content and requirements of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) must be posted in the Q&A section of the solicitation located at the online. All questions or clarifications must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2024.Any interpretation that may alter or change the ITB will be in writing, in the form of Addenda, which will be furnished via the online.. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check for Addenda before submitting bids. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as "Bid Security") issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or reject any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of ACHD. Award of a contract pursuant to this invitation may be delayed, without penalty, for up to sixty (60) calendar days after the date of bid. Expected Contract Bonding Requirement: $290,000.00
