This document constitutes a Request for Proposals for a Professional Service Contract from qualified individuals and organizations to furnish those services as described herein for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Highways. This statewide contract is to provide necessary Bridge Inspection, Evaluation, and Design Services of CIF Details for a select number of bridges on a statewide basis during the current biennium. Project Manager - James Edmunds, P.E. User Division - Maintenance Approximate Fee - $13,900,000 Total - Cost Plus a Fixed Fee Package 1 - $4,700,000 Package 2 - $4,600,000 Package 3 - $4,600,000 Project Funding - Federal Funds Contract Term - Two Years To ensure the continued structural safety and capacity of bridge structures utilized by the traveling public by providing analysis of as constructed details and preparation of contract ready retrofit plans. The Consultant team may include a DBE Participation Plan with their Response to Announcement to help the Department meet the 11.95% DBE goal established by FHWA. First Selection Meeting: July 8, 2024 Final Selection: July 24, 2024 Pre-Design Conference: July 31, 2024 Consultant Fee Proposal: August 9, 2024 Contract Negotiations: August 21, 2024 Notice to Proceed: September 11, 2024 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
