The City of Quinte West (The City) is seeking bid submissions from qualified and experienced (minimum of 10 years) respondents for the supply of all necessary services/equipment for repair of sanitary mains and maintenance holes including related Flushing, Cleaning, and CCTV inspection within the area of Quinte West. Existing CCTV and operator inspections from the City may be utilized to determine priority areas. This project will consist of first cleaning and then CCTV record of the designated sewer pipes. The Contractor will exam the videotape and identify the sources of leakage or failure in the sewer. A report will be delivered to the Engineer for review. The Contractor will propose repair methods for each pipe section to produce a "cost-effective" repair of the section. When a leakage is identified, the Contractor will use the best possible method for repairing the sewer pipe as directed by the engineer. The Contractor will also perform pressure tests at joints as directed to locate where leakages are occurring. After the completion of repairs to the damaged areas, the Contractor will once again leak test the pipe to confirm that source of leakage is repaired. The Contractor shall maintain a cumulative daily total of costs, reported to the Engineer. The final extent and scope of work to be completed under the contract is subject to available budget (final budget is still to be determined) and is at the City's discretion, to be completed as directed by the City or Engineer. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following main items: Mobilization, demobilization, and traffic Management. Cleaning and Flushing. CCTV inspection. Pressure testing of joints, sealing, and re-testing of joint. Testing of service laterals, sealing, and re-testing of service lateral. Sewer full length lining (150mm, 200mm,250mm & 300mm diameter).
