West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia ("WVU" or "University") is initiating this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to solicit proposals from qualified, experienced, and licensed firms for the following: Using the Construction Manager ("CM") at Risk project delivery method to allow for early CM involvement to assist in developing the design and obtain market pricing to relocate WVU's University Police Department from its current location at 992 Elmer Prince Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505 to 1 Waterfront Place, Morgantown, WV 26501. AE Works has been selected as the Design Professional to provide design services. Liquidated Damages shall be One Thousand Dollars ($1000) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion. Substantial Completion shall be May 5, 2025 Final Completion shall be June 5, 2025 Question Deadline 06/25/2024 at 12:00 PM ET The bid/proposal process is highly controlled. To protect the integrity of the process, any questions or clarifications regarding this Request for Bid/Proposal must be handled through the Department of Procurement, Contracting, & Payment Services.. Project description should identify new construction and/or renovation and include major elements of the project and/or any unique features.
