Reference Number 0000376503 Description : South Lynches Fire Department (SLFD) has issued a Request for Proposals for possible solutions and replacement of a defective flooring system at South Lynches Station 6. Florence County is seeking sealed proposals from qualified vendors for repair and or replacement of a defective flooring system at South Lynches Station 6 located at 1824 Bozy Rd., Scranton, SC 29591. Project will include the evaluation of the current defective flooring system as well as the demolition of the existing flooring and installation of new flooring as detailed below: 1. Demolition: a. Removal and disposal of approximately 2,000 square feet of existing VCT tile/glue, along with the current vinyl cove. 2. Installation: a. Preparation of the entire floor area, as necessary, to accept new flooring. b. Application of appropriate sealer per manufacturer recommendations. c. Installation of commercial grade LVP Luxury Vinyl Plank (glue-down) flooring, (color to be chosen by South Lynches FD). d. Replacement of the vinyl cove. The current flooring system consists of a concrete slab with VCT installed. Contractors submitting proposals shall be required to have reviewed the project in person prior to submitting a proposal to fully understand the scope of work.
